January 2013
WARNING
Book quickly for February as demand will be high due to January’s snow causing additional work due to cancelations!
It’s been a very busy month
I have been in meetings with Martin and Kieran from the NGRS, coming up with great new ideas for 2013 which include improving our services, making them even better for our customers.
We’ve been in more Health & Safety meetings with our consultants, Mentor, to renew our policy and training for staff. Damian and I are booked in for an updated Health and Safety course in March. We’ve also been meeting with local printers, getting new designs for the portfolios we give all to our customers. And of course, all the guys have been busy doing removals in the cold snowy weather.
If you’re looking to choose a removal company soon, take a look at our most recent award….
The National Guild of Removers and Storers have awarded us another Excellence Award. Thank you to all our customers for your positive comments.

Great news! We’ve done it again for 2012
Dear Gordon I am delighted to inform you that following the consistently high level of quality ratings received on your 'Quality Questionnaire' returned during 2012 you have been awarded The Guild Annual Certificate of Excellence (ACE).
We extend our congratulations to you and your staff on all of your hard work and commitment throughout 2012 in achieving ACE status for three years running which is an outstanding achievement.

We wish you continued success in 2013. Keep up the good work!
Yours sincerely

Thinking about using a cheap removal company?...read on
There are no regulations in place to determine who can set up a removal company, which means there are plenty of "rogue traders" out there who are just out to make a quick buck. They’re not interested in the welfare of your belongings, often quoting low prices in the hope they will win the job. This can leave you open to what could be a disastrous moving experience.These movers can be identified by the following;
- They look unprofessional.
- Their telephone manor is unprofessional.
- Just have mobile numbers
- No address
- Don’t have company email
- They are not members of a removals trade association or any association.
- They have not got insurance.
- They don’t own vehicles just rent as required
- They rarely visit to do a survey.
- They do not commit to a fixed quote, as they do not have the experience to plan a move.
- You are not provided with a proper written quotation with relevant terms and conditions.
- They only take cash or cheque and don’t have card machine
If you are tempted by a cheap quote from one of these traders you are open to many problems and mishaps such as;
- The move could take longer due to inexperience, resulting in additional costs
- Reliability. Is there any guarantee they will turn up on the day?
- Casual, inexperienced and unprofessional staff.
- Not insured. Will your belongings be covered for loss or damage?
- Damages. Inexperience and lack of the right equipment could lead to damage to your belongings.
- Loss. Are the staff trustworthy enough to enter your home and move your belongings?
- Dangerous, un-road worthy vehicles.
- Vehicle too small for job?
Is it worth risking all this just to save some money?
