The Annual Removals & Storage Show...

Our Managing Director; Gordon, was recently asked to speak at the Annual Removals & Storage Show that was held in November. Addressing many like-minded business owners, Gordon discussed the rising number of implications caused by “rogue traders” and inexperienced “Man & Van” removal services up and down the country.

He explained that despite paying huge fees and commission cheques to solicitors and estate agents, most home owners are quick to choose the cheapest removal company possible in the interests of making a quick saving.

Ironically, most of these unreliable “Man & Van” services and other sole traders have no experience when it comes to handling and transporting furniture, lifting and unpacking. In many instances, the move ends up becoming costlier in the long run due to incurred damages and losses.

Gordon then suggested the relevance of an industry-standard licence for the safe lifting, loading and transportation furniture and customer belongings. All in all, the talk was well received! Back To List
